Hey Y'all,
We worshipped in the neighboring state of Alabama this weekend in a nostalgic ole' place called Little Texas, Alabama. We were joined by The Larch Family, Mickey Brooks, and Rachelle. We had a great sing outdoors in this old pavillon that was built in the 1850's before the Civil War! I can only imagine the numerous camp meetings, revivals, and sings that must have taken place here and just how many saints of times past that stood under that very same structure and offered up Praise to our God! It was just a great experience! "They don't build 'em like they used to".
On Sunday morning, we had the opportunity to worship in Montgomery, Alabama with Yarbourough Street Baptist Church. What a nice congregation of folks!!! Bro. Cliff, Bro. Tim, Sis. Doris, and Bro. Mickey....."Thank you all so much for being so kind". We were truly blessed by Bro. Tim & daughter, Beth as they ministered to us in song while we took a break. We enjoyed meeting all of you and hope we can meet you again sometime in the future. God bless you...ALABAMA!!!
