Update on Kesha's Hospitalization

Hey Everybody,

Just wanted to let you all know that Kesha is much better. The original problem (upper respiratory infection) finally cleared up but she had a gallbladder attack on Tuesday night, July 1st that sent her to the emergency room and landed her in the hospital for a couple of days. After a series of tests, it was determined that her gallbladder was not functioning properly and will need to come out at some point. Incidentally, the doctors also found a couple of spots (one on her pancreas and one on her abdomen that turned out to be only cysts. The plan is to monitor these areas again in six months through MRI to make sure they are alright.

Kesha has truly felt all of your prayers and appreciates so much all of the cards and letters she has received through her illness. Thank you! God can take a bad situation and make a blessing out of it...Kesha was sharing things about the Parish Family ministry with a man named Scott Padgett, who was performing one of the medical tests on her on Tuesday, July 7th and something wonderful happened! Mr. Padgett began to share a story about his friend and talking about writing about how God can change any situation and.....the Holy Spirit compelled Kesha to go home immediately after the HIDA scan and write a new song. (Ode to Gallbladder)....just kidding...that is NOT the name of the new song but isn't it great how God works?? If it had not been for the gallbladder attack that satan meant for harm....this song would never have been written! PRAISE BE TO GOD!! The new song will be recorded on the Parish Family's new CD in September and Scott Padgett will be listed as Kesha's co-writer...thanks for sharing that story, Scott!!

The Parish Family is headed to Branson, Missouri in the morning!! Please pray for a safe journey and that souls will be saved next week during the convention! We pray that there will be no flat tires, no wrecks and no evil will come to hinder us during the traveling or while we are there at the convention...in Jesus' name!

God bless you all and thanks for praying for Kesha! We love all of you very much!

The Parish Family (Ronnie, Kesha & Mark)
